Module 4 Podcasts Give Virtual Reference a New Meaning

My podcast is a reader's advisory for adults with young children. The podcasts answers a reference question providing listeners with book choices appropriate for their children's reading level. This podcast promotes the use of local libraries. It is meant as another bridge between communities and their libraries.

  1. After seeing your Prezi and Powerpoint, I could not wait to listen to your podcast! I was not disappointed. No way to get bored listening to your podcast! Great Special Guest, Alvin Ho?? Did I spell that right? Very creative project as usual. Loved the bumper music. I was trying to do that for mine, but I couldn't find any music that went with Job Seekers. It all sounded like a news broadcast and was overly dramatic for the subject. Your podcast was alot of fun and I think most people would tune in for book/series ideas. My eight year old loves the Diary of A Wimpy Kid books and I'm always looking for read-a-likes. I would definitely appreciate the service and I would keep the "Special Guests" segment if I were you! Is your family in to drama, by chance? Great job!

  2. Thanks! I'm glad I didn't disappoint. You spelled it right. That series is super funny. I didn't get his voice quite right. I need more practice. Drama? No, my family is just quirky. (Unless, you mean the everyday drama. Then...yes!) Lol
